Tarn: the « White Path Greenway », 5km to cross and "save" the limestone plateau of Caucalières near Castres Departement: Tarn Region: Midi-Pyrénées The Departmental Council fitted out in 2015 a short Greenway called « the White Path " which crosses the limestone plateau of Caucalières and offer magnificent sights on this limestone plateau and on the Black Mountain. She allows to travel a very rich zone at the level flora and fauna: dry lawns. This zone Natura 2000 is protected from the damages thanks to the creation of the Greenway. This one also establishes a first section of a project of cycle connection in green way between Castres and Mazamet, to connect the Albi Castres Greenway (43km) for the Mazamet-Bédarieux Greenway (76km).
